After receiving support from Idobi Radio, Alternative Press, and Loudwire for their recently released anthemic single “The Flood”, Major Moment is back with a fresh take. Dialing down the intensity of the “100db wake-up call”, ‘The Flood’ has been reworked into a chilling piano-driven ballad complemented with an honest, fragile vocal performance that is in just a few words: pure emotion.

Let us know what you guys think of this dark and moody version!
We’ve been working really hard to make sure “The Flood” gets enough attention. We strongly believe that the song is raising important questions every person should ask themselves. With the powerful message of “The Flood”, we had to come up with a concept for its lyric video equally as powerful. Tonight we’re proud to announce that our work has been acknowledged by Alternative Press, who partnered with us to premiere our lyric video!
“Birthed as a free, punk-rock fanzine in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1985, Alternative Press has been at the forefront of alternative youth culture for over three decades. AP, as our fans call us, has discovered and helped build the careers of countless music acts in a variety of alternative music genres—a list including Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Korn, Soundgarden, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, Twenty One Pilots, and many more. A worldwide brand, AP is considered a true music fan’s “bible” to all that is new and revolutionary.”
“If New England modern-rockers Major Moment were a political force, things could be a whole lot better in this country. The Boston-based act have a penchant for anthemic choruses, interesting electronic flourishes and straight-ahead rock energy.”
Hope you will enjoy the read and the video itself! Can’t wait to hear what you think of it! This is a big deal for us to be featured in such a reputable outlet, and we’re so happy to share our success with you! 🖤
We couldn’t be happier to announce that our new music video premiered today at 2PM EST via New Fury Media. This outlet is a perfect hangout spot for fans of bands like Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, My Chemical Romance, Starset, etc. and now Major Moment too, I guess. 😅🙌🏻
Super thankful to Bradley & his team for partnering with us, so please make sure to head to their page and give it some love in the form or likes, shares & comments!
“Talking To Myself” is the final single from our upcoming EP, The Sequel, which is coming out on April 25th. Today The Big Takeover Magazine premieres the lyric video for “Talking To Myself”:
“…possibly their most mellifluous offering yet. Set on a bed of achingly beautiful piano arpeggios, lead singer Andrey Borzykin lays down a chilling inner monologue about a man whose tireless ambitions have left him in a perpetual state of angst.”
We would say this is a very different song for us, and one of the first ones Andrey wrote for Major Moment. We did the demo with Brent Barlow and interestingly enough, this is the song that ended up requiring the least work to get to its final stage…
Knowing our connection with Linkin Park, people may think that it’s another cover song, since they also have one with the same title, and they would be wrong. The fun fact is that our song was written before they released theirs, and to our surprise, both songs start with the words “tell me”. Isn’t it crazy? 😱🤷🏻♂️🤷♀️🙌🏼
This is a music video of our tribute to Chester Bennington, “Leave Out All The Rest”. This song has a very special place in our hearts, and it has the message that we should never forget. Linkin Park’s music was an integral part of our lives for 17 years and guided us through some dark times. They were a major motivation behind starting Major Moment and moving to the U.S., so we took his death very personally as if it happened within our own family. The video for ‘Leave Out All The Rest’ was made as a way to cope with this loss, but also to support the mission of 320 Changes Direction.
